Senku’s early years as a tournament fighter was remarkable to say the least. He comes from a family of prestigious tournament fighters, and has created his own forms to suit his needs. Senku’s brother Zan and sister Yoshi are well known fighters in the tournament scene and have been for years.

One of the worst days in Senku’s life occurred when he witnessed the destruction of his brother at the hands of Killer Monk. He was critically injured and was in a coma for five days within the Takan Clan hospice. This was the last time Senku would allow himself to be defeated in any form of fighting. His training and journey focuses on new styles and powerful Tuten-Ku users so he can have an advantage over anyone. Senku believes that not being powerful enough to protect his brother caused his death. To return to life of worth living he would have to defeat the man who killed his brother Killer Monk.

There was a very special event at a time called “Tournament Day”, an annual in which Senku and his family were known to compete in. Someday he will get back to simpler times when he could compete in tournaments and make a living.
