It’s been over 900 years since Ryuujin has learned the ways of being an Earth Guardian. He has had many journeys during his tenure and all of his journeys have produced great warriors who defend against evil. Born to a family of monks his early human years went to studying and scholastics. Having an overstanding and superior knowledge about Martial Science gave him a superior advantage that great fighters did not possess until centuries later.

Ryuujin has battled some of the greatest warriors of all time. Some of which are his equal or close, and has close relations with a few. He has made an attempt at being the Soul Tuten-Ku Master. He was defeated but not discouraged from the idea of another attempt. This time he used an army of warriors from across the world with the promise of Tuten-Ku power. It was a better idea than before, but to no avail.

The Dragon Mountains is the resting place of Ryuujin who is a Dragon King Guardian. The vast amount of Tuten-Ku energy felt by nearby fighters and citizens of neighboring cities acts as a warning that you are near the Dragon Mountains. They are located on an island north of Nipon. The Dragon Kings prior to Ryuujin used the mountain chambers as victory halls and weapons rooms. The occupiers of this impenetrable mountain fortress would have outsiders believe it is a kingdom. They are handpicked ninjas and warrior monks from the world’s elite martial arts ranks.

It is not clear if Ryuujin has fathered any children, but there are fighters who have regarded him as father. His romances are few and far between.
